Frequently Asked Questions

What vaccines do we require?

We do require every owner show proof of an updated rabies vaccine.

For other vaccines we just require a waiver to be signed stating your dog is up to date on their vaccines. You can sign our waiver and upload a copy of your dog's rabies vaccine under our forms tab.

Our Cancellation Policy and Late fee Information

We have a 48 hour cancellation policy. We must be noted in some way 48 hours before your dog's appointment of any changed you would like to make or we will need to charge the base price of the groom. As stated in our waiver, we will charge the card on file that all clients are required to provide. Please note this policy includes rescheduling appointments. If we are note notified of your intent to reschedule 48 hours before the appointment, the same actions will be taken as with a cancellation.

If you can not get a hold of us, we honor any emails or voicemails left before the 48 hour mark

We have a 20 minute grace period for all appointments. After 20 minutes we must add a $25 dollar late drop off fee. We can not take the dog after 30 minutes late.

We try our best, as a small business, to be as flexible as we can be in emergency situations.

Does Rogers Bark groom cats?

We do not offer grooming for cats. Currently, we are only offering nail trims for cats. Nail trims are $17, and we recommend calling first to ensure that a groomer is available. We do not schedule cat nail trims on Thursdays.

How long will it take for my dog to be groomed?

Although it varies, we typically quote 4 hours. Please let us know if you have any time restrictions, and we would be happy to try and work with you. If you need to leave your pet at the shop for more than 6 hours, we will automatically add the $10 extended day service and give your pet a walk, a treat, and water.

Does Rogers Bark crate the dogs?

Yes. This is for the safety of every single pet that is at Rogers Bark. Some dogs are not friendly with other dogs, and we want to make sure that all dogs and people are safe.

Are all dog breeds allowed at Rogers Bark?

We welcome all breeds, sizes, and ages! Please let us know if your dog has a special need or circumstance that we should know about. We are always happy to accomodate however we can.

Is there parking?

In addition to street parking, Rogers Bark has a loading zone right out front on Greenview.

What is the policy for late or missed appointments?

We ask that all clients are on time for their appointments. If you are more than 20 minutes late, we may no longer be able to keep your dog on the schedule for the day. We also charge the base price of the groom for late cancellation, missed appointments, and no call no shows. We try to be as flexible as possible, especially for extenuating circumstances. However, we ask that you provide a 48 hour notice for cancelling or rescheduling appointments. This is due to the fact that it is not fair to other clients who might have been turned down because of a full schedule. We require credit card information in order to book an appointment for this purpose.

Does Rogers Bark offer boarding, walking or sitting?

No, but we'd be happy provide referrals for businesses that we know and trust. If your pet has a grooming appointment and you cannot pick up right away, we offer an extended day service for $10 extra if your pet is at the shop for more than 6 hours. The extended day service will include a treat, water, and a walk.
